A reliable option for male-to-male support.

Blokes Care works with men who benefit from male support workers, particularly those navigating injury, illness, mental health, trauma, or major life changes.

We are often a good fit for clients who want support that feels practical, respectful, and grounded in real life.

Who we're a good fit for.

We typically support men who:

- Prefer male support workers
- Value independence and personal agency
- Are adjusting to sudden or significant life changes
- Need consistent, relationship-based support
- Respond better to direct communication and practical support

We work well with clients who do best when support is steady, relationship-based, and built on mutual respect rather than compliance or control.

How we work within a Care Team. 🤝

About Blokes Care.

More than support. At Blokes Care, we believe disability is something a person lives with.

It should never become who they are.

That's why we don't start with a diagnosis or an NDIS plan.

We start with the bloke sitting in front of us.

His family.
His mates.
His goals.
His routines.
The things that make life worth living.

Whether that's getting back in the shed, playing sport, heading to hydrotherapy, taking the kids to the park or simply enjoying a coffee with a mate, our role is the same:

To remove barriers so life can keep moving forward.

We believe the best support feels natural. Not clinical. Not awkward. Not someone standing over your shoulder ticking boxes.

Just a good bloke beside you, showing up consistently, having your back and helping you build the life you want.

That's what Blokes Care was built for.Hi, I’m Tom.

Blokes Care grew out of years of working directly with men in everyday life, not running things from behind a desk.

Having another bloke beside you who understands how you move through the world can make a real difference.

We all know the value of those men in our lives.

The ones who don’t need to say much. The ones who know when to listen, when to crack a joke, and when to give you a nudge forward.

That’s the heart of Blokes Care.

Tom Sijm

Founding Bloke

Hi, I'm Tom, the founder of Blokes Care.

For more than 10 years, I've worked alongside men living with physical disability, neurological conditions and acquired injuries.

Over that time, I've learned something simple: A diagnosis should never become someone's identity.

Behind every participant is a father, husband, mate, son or teammate.

Those identities existed long before disability, and they deserve to remain long after it.

That's why I started Blokes Care.

Not to become the biggest provider, but to build one people genuinely trust.

Because we're not here to become the centre of someone's life.

We're here to help them keep living it.
